The Registrar is one of the 7 recommended Regional Board positions as specified in the National Bylaws and Standard Regional Policies and Protocols. The Registrar’s role is to organize and implement the annual registration of players and volunteers.

Regional Registrars are essential to AYSO’s philosophy of providing “Open Registration” to all participants and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience youth soccer in a safe, fair, fun, family-friendly environment.

Purpose

The AYSO volunteer position of Regional Registrar is intended to be responsible for the annual planning and implementation of player registration.

How to Set Up Programs

A Registrar will create programs in their Registration Platform of Record (Sports Connect/InLeague). Use the links below to view how to create programs and other vital information like Division Birth Years.

Annual Registration

A Registrar is responsible for planning and managing the registration of all players and volunteers. They will work with the CVPA and Treasurer as needed.

Create Teams

In many regions the Registrar will be the person that creates teams. In some regions the Division Coordinators or Coach Admin may create teams.
